Where did Moissanite come from?

In 1893, Henri Moissan discovered a rare mineral called silicon carbide while exploring a meteor crater.  He mistakenly thought this mineral was a diamond.  It looked like a diamond – acted like a diamond – it must be a diamond!  But it wasn’t diamond – it is now known as Moissanite.

Fine Jewelry and Moissanite

Over the years I have considered my self practical minded.  I had a terrible time justifying the cost of fine jewelry. . . .until now.  I discovered Moissanite!  It is a gem that looks and acts like diamonds, but doesn’t share the price.  In fact, Moissanite is significantly less expense.

A friend of mine introduced to me to a company called Lulu Avenue, a direct sales company that is a part of Charles and Colvard.   Of course I became a Style Advisor with Lulu Avenue for the Moissianite!  Lulu hasn’t officially launched yet, but we are signing new Style Advisor’s every day.  It is a great opportunity to grow with the an established company like Charles and Colvard, but still be considered “ground floor”.
